The only difference visually between a VRC (Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor) and a standard freight elevator is that the former is specifically designed for moving freight automatically, not for human transport. Also, since a VRC complies with conveyor safety standards instead of elevator codes, it is cheaper to install, has faster operating speeds and can be integrated fully into production lines without the need for operator intervention.
