TBC-900 Telescopic Boom Conveyor
The TBC-900 Telescopic Boom Conveyor is a high-performance piece of kit designed to help the warehouse floor and the interior of shipping containers or trucks. By extending right into the loading vehicle, it gets rid of manual carrying and heavy lifting, which means that logistics hubs and distribution centers can turn around their operations much faster.
Besides meeting tough industrial application requirements by the cantilevered robust design, the conveyor has been constructed so that the long extended reach can be achieved without compromising stability. Users can easily change the reach and height at operators' convenience, thus conditions of working without any inconvenience in the ergonomic sense are guaranteed, and material flow is uninterrupted in the context of large-volume shipping and receiving operations.
Key Features & Advantages
Advanced Multi-Stage Extension
Dynamic Positioning and Height Control
With 360-degree unlimited rotation and a sensitive hydraulic height adjustment system, the conveyor can be positioned totally flexibly. The operator can alter the boom's angle and height in no time, matching different vehicle and dock heights in the warehouse, resulting in less physical effort and safer conditions.
High-Durability Belt and Construction
The equipment is made using special wear-resistant belt materials that can endure the rubbing and impact of heavy bulk goods. Being combined with an extensively strengthened cantilevered chassis means the TBC-900 can still function even at full load at maximum extension. This makes it a dependable workhorse at industrial loading docks with high-intensity.

Customer concerns (FAQ)
Q1: How long can the TBC-900 be extended?
A: The TBC-900 includes features that make it compatible with different environments. Depending on the model, it can have extensions as long as 15 meters or even longer. At this length, the conveyor belt would be capable of moving goods from the loading dock right up to the door of a 53-foot trailer or a regular 40-foot shipping container.
Q2: At full extension, how much load can the telescopic boom bear?
A:While the structure is cantilever, it is still great for heavy-duty operations. Normally, it will allow a distributed load of 50kg per meter, which would be excellent for e-commerce and manufacturing cartons, sacks, and bulk parcels.
Q3: Is a special dock layout required for the conveyor?
A: Not at all. Depending on your needs, we offer telescopic conveyors in both fixed-mount and mobile (either on rails or casters) versions. Mobile units can not only get to different dock doors for increased loading capacity but also allow other functions during the times when doors aren’t used.
Q4: How does this equipment ensure the safety of workers?
A:TBC-900 basically eliminates "the carry distance" within a truck which, in turn, by bringing the belt to the worker, not only does it reduce heavy lifting but also repetitive movements. Also, the piece of equipment has bright LED light at the tip and emergency stop bars that make really safe working environment in the dark space of the trailer.
Q5: Is it possible to change the speed of the belt?
A: Certainly. It is equipped with a variable frequency drive (VFD), so the workers can change the speed of the belt depending on the speed of the giver or requirements of the upstream sorting system.
Q6: Will it support various kinds of cargo?
A: Of course. Thanks to its high grip, resistant to wear belt, it is good for many types of cargo like cardboard boxes, plastic crates, tires, soft-wrapped bundles, and more.
Q7: What tasks does a telescopic conveyor maintenance involve?
A:It mainly requires checking the belt tension, lubricating the telescoping tracks, and changing the hydraulic seals from time to time. Also, we provide systems with easy-to-access panels so that carrying out these simple routine chores won’t take you long.
Q8: Is it possible for the TBC-900 to work together with other Duffy Machinery products?
A:Of course it can work jointly. It has been made in such a way that it has no problem when combining with our DWS systems for data capture or with flexible roller conveyors to get a full, automated path from shelving in the warehouse right into a truck.
